Prologue - Thursday, Blaine, Washington 9/10/2015

Hard to believe we are here and ready to go.  Everyone met in Blaine, scrambled to put bikes together, small packs on the back, parts checked and helmets on.  Jerry, Tracy and Tom left from the motel - headed towards the border (a mere two miles) and Gwen, Kathy and I followed in the car.

At the border, we gathered in front of the border crossing sign - cameras ready - here we go!

Well, um, let's see now - which way do we go from here?

A short time later, while we were shopping at Ace Hardware for repair items for the gents, I received the following text on my phone!

 It's true. . . once the guys decided on a route, they crossed the road and headed south - ONLY to find that by crossing the road they crossed into Canada!  Without passports in hand, they were detained and questioned by the border patrol.  After some tense moments, and wisely keeping comments to themselves, they were released and sent on their way south!

Prologue day ended in good form. . with a story to share.
